Place of worship dating back to the end of the 18th century, “Sf. Nicolae” - Tăbăcari Church was founded by the guild of tanners who were living in slum “Tăbăcari”.
Structurally “the abode was built after a three-cone plan, initially with an open porch, narthex, nave and altar. The porch shows trilobite arches resting on pillars of masonry. The porch was enclosed with masonry and windows as gaps of the 19th century, a century in which, apparently, it was rebuilt the bell tower on the narthex as well, specifically treated in the neoclassical style of the century. The facades are divided into two horizontal registers by a belt of brick placed on the corner brick and plaster sections. The belt is halted by the wake corbel above the entrance to the porch.” (National Cultural Heritage built in Vrancea County – Museum of Vrancea).
