Location: Cuza- Vodă Street, no. 47
A school institution, it falls under the category of educational establishments from the beginning of the 20th century. The building was built between 1930-1931, in Romanian style, through a donation made by Focșani City Hall to the High School for Girls. Thus, pursuant to order 76641/1930, the Secondary School for Girls was founded through a ceremony held on August the 1st, 1930, an event to which Nicolae Iorga took part, along with local and county officials.
Over time the building suffered structural changes by adding new classrooms, and in 1970 by adding a new wing to the old building but still maintaining the Romanian architectural style.
